Color temperature is often overlooked or misunderstood, but learning how to apply this fascinating aspect of color will add another skill to your toolbox and equip you to make your paintings sparkle with light.

Learn How to
• Select and mix paint colors that expand your temperature choices
• Depict a variety of light/shadow scenarios
• Use temperature to convey distance and form
• Create the illusion of light, atmosphere, weather and mood to support the story in your painting

After a brief discussion about color temperature, Beth will do a demo highlighting her thoughts and use of color temperature as she paints. After that, participants will apply color temperature concepts to their own painting based on a photo provided by Beth.

Beth will be there to guide and encourage you every step of the way by sharing her expertise and offering instruction based on your individual needs.
